It's hard to recall exactly when the moment occurred - when he suddenly disappeared - was it 1987, 1990? Did I say 'so long' & witness his final departure? Did he leave silently during the night? It happened so very long ago. All I remember is that he made me laugh harder than anyone ever could, from snow to snow, year after year - then he was gone.
